Beaver Day 2025
Saturday, May 3rd -- Camp Horne
Help Us Get Camp Ready for the Summer!
It's that time of year again when spring cleaning and preparations for a busy summer camping season is upon us. Our annual Beaver Day at Camp Horne is an important day to get so many needed projects completed. We hope you can help!
Thanks to the OA Indian Winter, a lot of camp spruce up has already been accomplished but there are always spring tasks that need to be completed. Beaver Day will be held in conjunction with the Order of the Arrow's Spring Fellowship, May 2-4 (visit the Aracoma Lodge website to register for the full weekend if you are a member). Saturday, from 8:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. will be spent in service toward camp. Lunch will be provided by the Council IF you register in advance (no later than noon on Tuesday, April 29th) so we will have a good head count for ordering food.
NOTE: If you are a member of the Aracoma Lodge, the OA Annual Banquet will be held Sturday evening - plan to stay and attend. Details and registration information will be available on the Aracoma Lodge's webpage.
Beaver Day is a one day event unless you are a member of the OA and register for the Spring Fellowship. Should a Unit wish to stay the evening, email Sleepy to make arrangements for the overnight, including food provisions beyond the Saturday lunch to be provided.
